Question: Why do people say that everyone came from africa, is it true

Yes it is true, our species Homo sapiens, evolved in Africa. We can tell this as the fossil record shows our species starting to evolve around 300 thousand years ago, currently the oldest fossil is form Morocco. We can also tell from genetic studies that African populations have the most diversity of all. Genetically speaking that would indicate an African origin for our species as genetic diversity lessens the further away you get form the source.
