About the CHRISTMAS LECTURES

Begun by Michael Faraday in 1825, the CHRISTMAS LECTURES are now broadcast on UK television every December and have formed part of the British Christmas tradition for generations.

The I’m a Scientist team are working with the Royal Institution to extend the CHRISTMAS LECTURES discussion; giving school students and the public the opportunity to ask questions inspired by the lectures to scientists and engineers online.
