I’m an Australian who has been living and working as a Research Scientist at Imperial College London for almost 5 years. I enjoy getting outdoors as much as I can to go cycling, swimming or running. I also love going to see live music at venues in London or elsewhere and going to music festivals in the summer. My favourite music festivals in the UK so far have been Glastonbury and Boomtown.

I work in a research lab at Imperial College each day. I will usually be doing experiments with bacteria themselves – growing them and looking at them on agar plates or under the microscope, or working with manipulating their DNA to perform experiments to understand them better.
