• Question: What tells us we are ready to walk when we’re about to take our first steps

      Oh I don’t know the answer to this question I’m afraid, but it’s a good one.
      Everyone seems to do this at different times in their development. Sometimes adventurous children are up on their feet at an early age, others don’t seem to have the same urge to do this because they can be pretty quick on their hands and knees.

      I guess it also depends on whether they have someone to copy. If they have older siblings they probably start watching and learning from them earlier than an only child, but I am just guessing.
