Good question! We know that there are millions of species of animals out there that scientist have not discovered yet. Sometimes those animals are large mammals (like this one described in the 1990s https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saola), but usually newly discovered species are small like insects.
I would say that it is very unlikely that bigfoot, yetis or a similar undiscovered large ape is out there, but not completely impossible. There have been lots of unproven sightings of bigfoot and similar animals, and even some samples of hair that people believed to have come from bigfoot.
