I use Youtube videos a lot to learn more about science! I find it a really nice way to get information as they usually have good graphics, and unlike class at school, you can rewind if you don’t understand it the first time. My favourite channel for science stuff is CrashCourse. They have loads of different sets of videos for different subjects, both scientific as well as unscientific like history and literature. I really enjoyed all of the biology related ones, as well as the chemistry one, and their statistics series is super helpful!
Absolutely, such videos make up about 90% of the things I watch on youtube!! My top three science youtube channels are:
* Kurzgesagt: they have absolutely beautifully animated/drawn videos talking about anything from genetic engineering to the big bang.
* Vsauce: the host, Michael Stevens, explains interesting concepts in psychology, language, maths, physics and other weird and wonderful things.
* BrainCraft: the hostess, Vanessa Hill, chats to us about psychology, talking about curiosities such as why we always underestimate the amount of time something will take, why we procrastinate, or why we get jealous.
Check them out if you have time, they are really accessible and cool!
