Definitely! The way the school system worked in Romania, where I grew up, was that you had to choose a specialisation when starting high school – and I chose natural sciences, which meant three classes a week in each of biology, chemistry, physics, as well as maths, in addition to 2-3 classes a week in four languages (Romanian, Hungarian, English and German), and 1 class a week in humantities subjects (history, geography, philosophy).
So all of this meant I got to study a lot of science, which was quite fun!
I did! Biology has always been my favourite but I liked chemistry and physics too. I also really liked some of the more creative subjects like art and resistant materials and am so glad I kept studying a language (Spanish) until the end of school.
