There are morphologically/biologically different human species, such as the Neanderthals and us Homo sapiens. However, as we now know we successfully mated with past human species like the Neanderthals (all modern human populations today outside Africa have between 1-4% Neanderthal DNA) the question of what a human species is probably now has to be revised. Scientists are pondering this as we speak in terms of trying to come up with an answer.
